Faridabad, Jantantra Today/ To mark the culmination of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada (12th to 26th June 2025), the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Aggarwal College Ballabgarh organized an Online Documentary Screening and Friendly Discussion on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed annually on 26th June.
The program was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Chairman Sh. Devender Kumar Gupta Ji, General Secretary Sh. Dinesh Kumar Gupta Ji, Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Wing-I Incharge Dr. Sachin Garg.
The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the adverse effects of drug abuse and the importance of collective responsibility in building a drug-free society.
The event was convened by Dr. Rekha Sain & commenced with the screening of a powerful and thought-provoking documentary highlighting the real-life stories of individuals affected by substance abuse, the challenges of rehabilitation, and the efforts of law enforcement agencies against illicit drug trafficking.
Following the screening, a friendly and interactive discussion was held, in which students expressed their thoughts, shared reflections, and discussed possible preventive measures. The discussion provided a safe and open platform for dialogue on this sensitive issue, encouraging participants to be more vigilant and responsible citizens.
Dr. Deepmala and Ms. Priyanka actively organized the program. The team guided the session with sensitivity and insight, ensuring meaningful engagement and awareness among participants.
This initiative successfully reinforced the college’s commitment to a drug-free campus and aligned with the broader objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The Anti-Narcotics Cell expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and reaffirmed its dedication to conducting more such awareness programs in the future.
