Faridabad, Jantantra Today/ The Anti-Narcotics Cell of Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh, successfully organized a series of impactful events from 12th to 26th June 2025 as part of the nationwide initiative “Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada”. The main objective of this campaign was to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to motivate students and staff to embrace a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
The program was conducted under the theme “Drug-Free Future: It Starts with Us.” A wide range of activities were carried out during the campaign, engaging students, faculty, and the community in a powerful message of change and responsibility. The program was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Chairman Sh. Devender Gupta Ji, General Secretary Sh. Dinesh Gupta Ji, Principal Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Wing-I Incharge Dr. Sachin Garg
Key Highlights of the Campaign:
- 21st June 2025 (International Yoga Day):
A Public Awareness Program on Drug Abuse was organized at Khel Parisar, where students, staff, and local community members participated enthusiastically. The event emphasized the role of yoga in achieving a balanced and addiction-free life. - 23rd June 2025:
An impactful Anti-Drug Pledge Drive was organized. Students and faculty took a solemn pledge to stay away from drugs and to promote a drug-free society. The pledge instilled a sense of accountability and collective resolve. - 24th June 2025:
A creative and thought-provoking Slogan Writing Competition was held on the theme “One Life – One Chance: Stay Drug-Free”. Students expressed their thoughts through compelling slogans, promoting awareness and personal responsibility in combating drug abuse. - Throughout the Campaign:
A Social Media Awareness Campaign was actively run on the college’s official platforms. Students and staff members shared facts, motivational stories, and videos related to drug prevention, amplifying the campaign’s message beyond the campus boundaries.
All activities were successfully coordinated by Dr. Rekha Sain (Program Convener) and Dr. Deepmala (Member, Anti-Narcotics Cell). Their tireless efforts, along with the wholehearted participation of students and staff, made the campaign a grand success.
Through this campaign, Aggarwal College reinforced its commitment to building a healthier, drug-free future and contributed meaningfully to the national mission of “Nasha Mukt Bharat.”
