
FARIDABAD,JANTANTRA TODAY/ The Department of Mathematics at JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, successfully hosted a Talent Hunt event, offering students a unique platform to exhibit their diverse talents and skills. The event was designed to encourage the participants’ confidence and to help them overcome their stage fear.The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, led by Chairperson Prof. Neetu Gupta, along with other faculty members of the department.
This was followed by a reverent Saraswati Vandana, setting a solemn and inspiring tone for the day’s proceedings. The meticulous coordination by faculty members Dr. Reena Garg and Ms. Nisha Singh ensured the event ran smoothly and efficiently.A total of 42 students participated across various categories, including singing, speech, chess tournament, stand-up comedy, dance, and poetry. The singing competition was particularly captivating, with participants enchanting the audience with their melodious voices.
The stand-up comedy segment brought laughter and light-heartedness to the event, while the speech competition and poetry recitals were both engaging and thought-provoking. As the event concluded, members of the Ramanujan Society and the winners of the various competitions were felicitated.
Vaibhav emerged victorious in the Chess competition, Sneha won the Singing competition, Geetika triumphed in the Speech competition, Arun Diwania was the star of the Stand-up Comedy, Kajal dazzled in the Solo Dance, Ruchika Bhardwaj was recognized for her Poetry, and Lipika Bhati and Priya were awarded for their Duet Dance performance.
