Medical) &amp;&nbsp; Biotech from K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women participated in the Inter-District Level Science Exhibition held at Government College for Women, Sec. 16 A, Faridabad. The exhibition was an opportunity for young minds to engage with advanced scientific concepts, explore practical applications, and present their research effectively.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The college participated in four subject categories\u2014Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Botany\u2014each featuring unique and thought-provoking models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Following prizes were won by our students:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. *Botany Model:* (Sheetal Tanwar and Vaishnavi Pachory, B. Sc Med. final year) got 1st position.They&nbsp; presented a comparative model on &#8220;Water and Mineral Uptake (Natural vs. Man-made)&#8221; .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. *Zoology Model* : Model on&#8221; Gene Therapy:A revolutionary cure for thalassemia &#8221; prepared by Geetanjali Shukla and Khushbu, B. Sc Med. final year got 2nd position. Also Best Explanatory award and cash prize of Rs.1000.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. *Chemistry Model:* Chanchal, B. Sc Med. Final year won&nbsp; Best explanatory award. she presented a model titled&#8221; Click Chemistry, Cryo-EM, and Fields&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Principal Dr. Manju Dua for her unwavering support, which has been instrumental in facilitating such endeavours. Additionally, We express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Meenu Dua (H.O.D,Science) for her continuous encouragement and invaluable guidance and to Dr Beena Sethi &amp; Dr. Shveta Arya who played a crucial role in preparing the students for the event.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participation of students in this exhibition was made possible under the able guidance of their faculty incharges, Dr. Mamta Singh, Ms. Anita, Ms. Pinki Rani, and Ms. Neha.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, the participation in the Inter-District Level Science Exhibition was an enriching and rewarding experience for both students and faculty. The dedication and hard work of the students were evident in their presentations, and their innovative models were well received.
